The skill ones are fairly straightforward, the miscellaneous ones are either "obtain unlockables" like we currently have for the Imcando pickaxe and Seren symbol, or just fun stuff like the drunken dwarf Open Bar achievement.įeel free to suggest and discuss, particularly for the things that have few or no suggestions! (note: if you suggest something without a name, I'll try to come up with a name of my own, and it will be terrible! )Īchievements that have been released have been crossed out. Arguably, these requirements should not be shown in-game explicitly (just say 'with sufficient participation') to prevent people just doing the minimum, then afk'ing.įor minigames, the suggestions are roughly categorised as "basic gameplay elements for beginners" (easy), "more advanced things" (medium/hard), "out of the way 'fun' things" (hard/elite) and "only for the persistent or the super fans" (elite). Where necessary, "play n games" achievements have a small participation requirement to prevent afk'ing. Mage Arena, Rogue Trader, Rated Clan Wars and Gnome Ball have been excluded from minigames (but feel free to suggest stuff for them). Some of these could be hidden for fun, like some FunOrb achievements, or Prifddinas titles. As a guideline, easy would be 5 RuneScore, medium 10-5, hard 20-5, and elite 40-50. I have given each achievement a difficulty from easy to elite based on my own experience. I have focussed on minigames since those are lacking in achievements at the moment, and adding lots of achievements should be able to help boost their popularity (in addition to ninja fixes - see thread in signature). However, some dungeons, such as the Ogre Enclave, the Barrows, and other dungeons visited during quests are not on the map.I've decided to post my massive list of achievement suggestions onto the forums, so people can help expand it. You can view other dungeons even if the entrance you clicked is not linked to your target dungeon in any way. After doing so, the surface of Gielinor would disappear, and all left on the map is an underworld consisting solely of dungeons. To use this, you can select a Dungeon from a drop down list at the bottom of the map or click on the entrance to a dungeon on the world map. This feature can be disabled in the Key side panel under 'you are here'. While looking at another part of the map, the "You are here" arrow can be left-clicked to reveal the focus option to scroll automatically to the current location. The "You are here" feature shows the location of the player on the map. This should prevent other players from assuming you are not paying attention to them.įeatures Scrolling While the fullscreen map is displayed, your character will appear to be looking at a scroll of parchment, presumably containing a map on it. The dynamic map may also be zoomed, depending on the player's preference. Players can search it using keywords, quickly move from one location to another one, view the "Key" list where all of the icons are explained and can be clicked to reveal all of the locations of the certain icon. ( Note: The fullscreen world map view cannot be accessed during combat or certain other activities.) This version of the map is dynamic. Doing this will change the game screen into the world map view. You can either open the floating map (default left click) or right click the map icon and select fullscreen for the same map in fullscreen mode. To access the world map, the World map button located on the Minimap must be clicked. A player viewing the fullscreen world map.
